Ethan Brodsky is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Trabuco Hills HS. Big and strong athletic build, especially strong in the lower half. Quick compact arm action, crossfire delivery with good leverage against his front side, 3/4's arm slot, does a good job of getting his hips on line and clear at release. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, works to corners with his fastball and gets good sinking action. Nice change up with sinking action, slider shows good bite and some lateness. Three-pitch starter profile who can fill up the zone and pitch deep into games. Has improved significantly over the last year.
