Ryne Guida is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Florida Virtual School. Large frame with lots of strength and physicality throughout. Primary first baseman with two handed fielding actions in front. Longer arm stroke with good accuracy and moves well around the bag. Throws recorded up to 81 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a lift and replace load. Hands are fast and swings the bat with intent and generates excellent exit velocities. Excellent bat speed with very good feel for the barrel. Corks up and unloads on the ball with excellent hip rotation and really drives through with his hips nicely. Impact bat at the next level. Good student. Named to the Sunshine East TP List. Verbal commitment to Stetson.
