Brenden Garula is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-0 177 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends William Mason. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Uptempo delivery on the mound, creates good angle from an extended 3/4's arm slot, can get long and off line in back creating timing inconsistencies, arm works well coming through and out front. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some arm side running life. Curveball was a solid second pitch with nice dept and spin. Showed some feel for a change up that had good arm speed and some fade. Three-pitch start profile with good projection. 7.32 runner in the sixty, plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a even narrow stance with a hanging load and long stride into contact, has strength in his swing and swings with intent, gets the ball in the air and shows good power. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
