Julian Molto-Herrera is a 2021 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Medium frame with strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Hits from open-based stance, shows good hand speed through swing, creates leverage out front but will leak front hip, pull-side approach with HR power in that direction, good strength off the barrel when squared up. Worked out in the infield, moves to ball with deliberate footwork, bends to field, really winds up before releasing, clocked up to 80 mph across. Also pitched, throws from high three quarters arm slot, drop and drive delivery with easy effort, worked bottom of zone consistently with fastball, fastball clocked at 76-80 mph. Also worked in curveball with 12/6 shape and good spin; flashed deceptive changeup as well. Very good student, named to 2018 National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
