David Ryan is a 2017 LHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Bixby HS. Ryan has a medium sized frame with a lean projectable build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. Ryan has a balanced delivery and hides the baseball well. He throws slightly across his body and showed the ability to repeat his delivery. Ryan gets some extension and he gets some slight cut action on his curveball. He located the ball well to his arm side. Ryan throws a 1/7 curveball with developing shape and spin. He uses a head jerk to pull his arm through on his curveball which limits his ability to spin it. There's more velocity and feel for his off speed pitches with a few adjustments. Good student.
