Adrian Najar is a 2022 3B/RHP, OF, SS, 1B with a 5-9 159 lb. frame from Grand Prairie, TX who attends South Grand Prairie. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, stays low moving towards the ball, fields the ball out front, shows carry on throws from the backhand, gets tall at release and can incorporate additional lower half into release, shows comfort dropping slot going up the middle. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery, short and quick leg lift with shorter, on line stride down the mound. Worked exclusively off of his fastball, topped out at 73 mph, mostly true in life with occasional running life, pitches to contact and able to stay off barrels. Maintained velocity out of the stretch, stays on line towards the plate. Righthanded hitter, begins with a hand hand set and back elbow at the plate, even stance. uses a leg lift trigger for timing. Upper body dominant swing, short shift moving into contact. Full swing path through the zone, looks to create contact to pull side. Gets extended out front and creates nice contact off the barrel when squared, shorter finish through the ball, best contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
