Nick De La Torre is a 2007 OF/C with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Weston FL, who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Nick has a good body with an athletic build. Nick has good arm strength from the outfield with a quick arm action. He has smooth defensive actions and moves to the ball well. Nick starts with a low hand set at the plate and has a narrow stance. Nick uses a knee lift trigger to start his swing and keeps his hands inside the ball well through his swing. He has some loft in his swing and pop in his swing with more power potential in there. Nick has bat speed and the ball really jumps off his bat. Nick has hand strength and stays behind the ball well. Nick is a solid prospect.
