Preston Rauh-Wasmund is a 2007 right handed pitcher from Ajax, Ontario who attends Pickering High School. He has a 6' 185 pound frame with an athletic build. He had a very good performance on the mound and showed a long loose arm action. He has very good arm speed and an athletic delivery with a live arm. Preston has very good command and feel for all three pitches he throws. His curveball was his best pitch at 74 mph with a very tight 12-6 rotation. His slider was very tight and hard at 79 mph as well. His off speed pitches are very advanced for his age. His fastball at 86-89 mph was a good pitch and he should gain some velocity as he gets stronger. Preston has a solid bat at the plate with good bat speed. He has solid tools at the plate but is still a little raw. Rauh-Wasmund is a sure fire college guy on the mound who should not stay uncommited.
