Zac Rice is a 2020 OF/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Fort Mitchell, AL who attends Russell County. Lean athletic build with wiry strength and room for plenty more. Outstanding runner, 6.27 in the sixty, impact speed. Very light on his feet in the outfield, quick to the ball, has plenty of arm strength with on line carry, can shorten his footwork and crow hop for a quicker transition and release on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow bent knee stance, moves in with his lower half early and loses his hips before contact, hits out front with a downhill swing path, can make adjustments to his swing approach to make more consistent line drive contact. High level potential if he can continue to improve with the bat. Very good student, signed with Chipola College. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
