Matt Blair is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Lizella, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy High School. Large, projectable frame with a durable build that has present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, loaded well through his hips in his delivery and repeated mechanics. Fastball worked to both sides of the plate at 83-86/87 mph with good life through the zone. Also mixed in a curveball at 76 mph with 10-4 shape that flashed depth and sharpness. Changeup at 79 mph that showed deceptive sink and fade with maintained arm speed that should be used more. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
