Tanner Vanostran is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Twin Falls, ID who attends Twin Falls HS. Has a medium frame, athletic build, and room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.09 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, shows good footwork and hands, made quick exchanges into throws from multiple arm slots, good movements and fundamentals overall. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a squared stance and high hand set. Has a middle of the field, contact approach with a full swing path to the baseball, good composure in the box. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long arm circle through the back. Gets downhill plane and stays online, solid use of lower half. Pulls the string on his changeup, curveball has 11/5 shaped with depth. Excellent student.
