Nathan Bandy is a 2018 MIF/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Bentonville, AR who attends Providence Academy. Medium frame with a lean, athletic frame. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.18 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with smooth, fundamental footwork while surrounding and working through the baseball. Clean, soft glove actions while funneling the baseball out front and work through transition with smooth exchanges. Flashed some carry across the infield topping at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Lower half works to contact with linear actions generating solid shift into baseball. Simple, direct line drive path and plane through extension. Utilized a mid-field approach with the barrel control to work to all fields as well. Maintained balanced throughout swing while consistently producing hard line drive throughout batting practice. Good student as well.
