Parker Poteet is a 2020 SS/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Northview. Medium and skinny frame, young with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.96 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with athleticism and good actions, quick feet to both sides laterally, smooth hands and a quick transfer, topped out at 81 mph across the diamond. Secondary outfielder, works quickly to the baseball, compact arm action into throws that topped out at 85 mph from the outfield. Switch hitter, graded out slightly better from the left side, sets up with a narrow and open stance, strides into contact squaring up his lower half and creating a line drive swing plane, barrel skills with line drive results and loud contact, closed off front side from the right side, long swing plane with a bat wrap at load. Good student. Named to 2019 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
