Julian Lee is a 2020 OF/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from West Orange, NJ who attends West Orange High School. Large, athletic build with square shoulders and a leaner, projectable frame with room to fill, has present strength to frame. Ran a 5.05 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes long strides moving towards the ball, fields the ball cleanly to side and remains tall through release; full arm action through the back, accurate throws, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing. Movement throughout mechanics pre-swing, shows looseness to hands to get the barrel to the inside pitch. Full swing path through the zone and gets uphill with plane looking to lift, best contact to middle and pull sides when out front at point of contact. Very good student.
