James Carraher is a 2021 OF/C with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary. Tall and lean build with lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, has a strong approach at the plate with good rhythm and a simple repeatable load, torques his hips well to help generate bat speed, has extension and leverage at contact, short to the ball and long through it, showed plenty of left to left centerfield with a gap to gap approach. 7.31 runner, has a quick arm circle from the outfield with a 3/4's arm slot, has some carry and makes accurate throws, has loose overall athletic actions. Also catches, has lower half flexibility and can explode well out of his crouch, good throwing fundamentals with his feet and exchange. Primary outfielder but has the tools and actions to further develop as a catcher. Very good student.
