Trevor Thorstensen is a 2007 OF/P with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Holbrook NY, who attends Sachem East. Thorstensen has a medium sized frame with a thin build and a strong core. Defensively, Thorstensen has good feet and moves to the baseball well. He uses a shorter arm action and throws with some effort. He has arm strength with carry on his throws. At the plate, Thorstensen uses a straight stance with a wide base. He has a quiet approach in the box and uses a short load. He has a no stride approach and bars his front arm in his swing. Thorstensen takes his hands to the ball and swings through the ball well. He maintains good balance through his swing and is presently a contact hitter. Thorstensen has present gap to gap power and throws the barrel to the ball. Thorstensen is a good student.
