Brian Volk is a 6-3, 195 lb 2006 right handed pitcher from Tennessee. He has a nice long pitchers body at 6-3, 195 lbs. Volk throws from a low 3/4 arm slot which allows him to get some really good arm side run on his fastball. Volk has a nice long loose arm action and throws with very little effort. His 64 mph curveball could be tightened a little bit with some work. Volk also throws a 65 mph change up. Volk has a repeatable delivery which allows him to consistently throw strikes. He showed some athletic ability by fielding his position very well. Volk has good hand eye coordination at the plate and has a balanced swing.
