Alex Junghans is a 2024 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-9 115 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Lipscomb Academy. Medium and slender frame with room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.46 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield sitting back on the baseball and fielding it out in front, has smoothness to his hands especially to the glove side, developing arm strength and footwork laterally to his backhand. Switch hitter, graded out best from the right side, strides into contact with an arm bar at load, linear swing path with young bat speed and a middle of the field approach, more open stance from the left side, creates some lift from the left with a longer swing path and pull side approach. Outstanding student.
