Adrian Sanchez is a 2019 3B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Somerset Academy Charter. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front, could incorporate additional lower half coming through the ball to build momentum, upright at release, showed the ability to throw across the diamond from multiple release points. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Open stance and utilizes a short shift, upper body dominant swing and does a nice job of staying short to the ball with swing path. Creates lift to swing path outfront at point of contact with quickness to hands and able to create jump off the barrel to the pull side when squared up. Good student.
