Peyton Lavergne is a 2022 1B/LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Flowery Branch, GA who attends Johnson. Medium to large build with present athleticism and room to still fill into as he continues to develop. Primary first baseman, stays in front of the ball well and shows good comprehension for his footwork off of the bag. Longer arm action on his throws but stays on top of the ball and shows good accuracy. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Turns closed slightly at the top of his mid leg lift. Some natural arm side run on his fastball up to 76 mph. Mixes in an 1-to-7 shaped curveball with good depth. At the plate, uses an even and upright stance with a simple stride trigger. Backside fires through quickly. Present bat speed through the zone, stays tall on his backside. Middle of the field approach, great student in the classroom as well.
