Matthew Zmolik is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-2 110 lb. frame from Waxahachie, TX who attends Waxahachie. Small frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 9.44 seconds. Hits from open stance, wide-spread, toe tap trigger with active hands in load, hands high through load, two hand finish through the zone, patient approach at the plate, line drive plane. Worked out in the infield, shows range, hands work when out front, steps into throws, clocked up to 61 mph. Also pitched, overtop arm slot with repeatable mechanics, fastball worked 59-62 mph with some sink, showed curveball at 51 with good depth.
