Harley Finnell is a 2020 C/ with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Heath, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Medium frame with longer limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.37 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a slightly taller, even stance while receiving the baseball. Smooth paced footwork while gaining ground towards the bag with a loose glove circle at take back. Released from a compact arm action creating some recoil at release. Throws produced softer, on line carry to the bag topping at 68 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple front side trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Loose, extended path to contact with a sweeping barrel plane through extension. Utilized a mid-field, line drive approach throughout batting practice flashing developing feel for the barrel. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition.
