Michael Caldwell is a 2018 RHP/C/1B with a 6-2 235 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Dominion Christian HS. Extra large frame with well-proportioned strength and physicality throughout the build. Primary righthanded pitcher with a higher three-quarters arm slot and a short arm action. Fastball recorded up to 86 mph and flashes some cutting life to the pitch. Varies arm slot at times and lowers to throw the breaking ball. Good feel for the slider with 10/4 shape and command of the pitch. Threw strikes consistently with either pitch to both sides. Can create downhill plane from the higher arm slot with a short stride down the mound. Good student.
