Kevin Morales Roldan is a 2017 SS/3B, OF with a 6-3 182 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Ramon Quinones Medina. Tall and lean frame with a wiry build. Primary shortstop. Really gets around the ball and gets momentum going toward the bag. Accuracy across the field is developing with some carry on throws that topped at 86 miles per hour. Gets the ball out front and funnels to the body. Exchanges are smooth and clean. Soft hands and good footwork when fielding the ball. Right handed hitter with an upright and slightly open stance. Starts with a high back elbow and uses a simple leg lift trigger for timing. Lower half has linear movements to contact. Utilizes a loose and extended path to the ball with a line drive barrel plane. Some bat speed in swing with a balanced and middle of the field approach. Hand load is deeper and can cause some barrel drag.
