Daniel Helfgott is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Don Bosco Prep. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with physical maturity. Ran a 5.32 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows balance and athleticism in footwork with range up the middle, charges in well, sound transfer and gets it out of glove quickly, short arm action with some effort at release from a lower arm slot, accurate throws with arm strength that will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a deep load and slight wrap to barrel. Remains balanced through swing and shows a nice bat path, solid contact coming off the barrel with ability to work all fields, contact approach with feel and control for the barrel head. Good student.
