Justin Carboni is a 2019 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends Walt Whitman. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Moves well and ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves towards the ball with quickness and athleticism, remains balanced through the ball and release, fields the ball out front with a long and loose arm stroke through the back, ball comes out clean and gets on top with some whip to arm action and present strength out of hand, accurate throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and even stance in the box with a high back elbow; utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Shows nice components to swing in the box, loads onto back side and comes off well with present bat speed through the zone. Looks to elevate at point of contact and found the barrel with jump coming off when squared, tools project moving forward. Named to Mid-Atlantic Underclass Top Prospect List. Very good student.
