Ethan Carroll is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Mceachern. Tall and projectable frame with a high waist and room to fill. Ran a 7.24 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, balances over his backside on his delivery, takes a short stride down the mound with good explosion to the plate, quick arm action taken at hand separation, deliberate tempo to his operation the pitchability and arm speed is there to project on. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good running life to the pitch, sharpness to the slider flashed in the low-70s, good combination of pitches, will continue to hold velocity better as he fills out, interesting young arm. Secondary third baseman, moves well in the infield and the glove plays out in front, gathers with two hands, comfortable with transfers and makes plays with average arm strength across. Right-handed hitter, spread out stance in the box, strides into contact, gets spread out with stride, swings with intent and will tend to leak onto his front side, adjustments to timing will improve barrel ability.
