Kenneth Frank is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Colonial Beach, VA who attends King George High School. Large, broad shoulders frame with present strength throughout body and long arms. Primary lefthanded pitcher, uses a side step moving into delivery with a high leg raise up past belt before striding on line towards the plate. Short and compact arm action in the back and works to an extended three-quarters arm slot. Fills up the strike zone and pitches off his fastball, topped out at 77 mph with some heavy life to bottom of zone, able to elevate and miss barrels. Maintains arm slot on changeup and shows short fading life, slows arm action slightly on breaking ball and creates sweeping life at 67 mph. Similar arm action from first base, fields the ball close to body, accurate throws with carry across. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow. Loads weight back then raises hands, line drive swing plane through the zone and keeps hands in, rotates hips through swing and incorporates physical strength into swing.
