Cameron King is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 5-10 128 lb. frame from Berkeley Springs, WV who attends Berkeley Springs High School. Very young player with a medium frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.37 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher, online delivery, deception, good extension, long arm circle, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Hid the ball well and changed looks and holds. Limited lower half drive to the plate. Fastball worked 67-69/70 mph with arm side life and was around the zone effectively. Curveball showed 2/8 shape with depth and best break when working on top of the pitch. Secondary first basemen, fielded with two hands, accurate feeds, and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a high hand set, active hand load, and a large leg lift timing mechanism. Inconsistent weight shift with a line drive swing plane. Worked up the middle well with developing bat speed. Will continue to improve in all facets with additional strength.
