Michael Wonderly is a 2019 RHP/3B, OF, SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from St Charles, IL who attends St Charles East. Large frame with lean, athletic present build; very good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.03 seconds. Primary pitcher, rocker step into slower-paced delivery, high arched take back into arm swing, throws from three quarters arm slot. Fastball worked 70-74 MPH with solid arm side life, did a good job consistently throwing strikes with the pitch. Showed a curveball with slurvy shape and solid spin, will flash ability to cut fastball to glove side at times as well. Did a good job of pitching to contact and allowing defense to work behind him. Sets up to hit from balanced stance with slightly closed off front side, leg lift trigger, flattens barrel onto line drive plane early and stays there. Has good smoothness to stroke and showed ability to backspin the ball, worked to all fields on a line. Worked out defensively in the infield, moves well with solid footwork and surrounds the ball, shows good actions with hands and throws accurately across the diamond up to 70 MPH. Good student.
