2018 PG Top Prospect Games at Texas A&M
Bryce Yosko is a 2019 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Spring High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned nicely throughout, some room to fill moving forward. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front and shows high energy to actions when on the charge, shows quickness to actions, extra steps through release during drills, has nice arm strength and carry across the diamond. Also pitched, side step moving into a high leg lift lift; drives off the backside with effort at release. Shows quickness to arm action, topped out at 86 mph and showed running life down in the zone; short and tight curveball with tilting finish up to 75 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Swings with an linear path through the zone and does a nice job of creating extension out front; occasionally gets mistimed but shows jump off the barrel when squared. Swings with intent and showed comfort working to pull side but can go with the outer half pitch. Excellent student.
