Lincoln Orellana is a 2019 3B/1B/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Wilton, CA who attends Sheldon High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Listed as a primary third baseman, only took reps from the outfield during drills portion. Deliberate tempo moving towards the ball, full arm action through the back, gets tall at release, nice carry on throws out of hand. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an upright, narrow stance and a high hand set at the plate. Shows quickness to hands and does a nice job of staying short to the ball with a fluid and easy swing. Finds the barrel well with consistency and able to create lift, nice tools to build on with added strength to frame. Very good student.
