Will Duff is a 2019 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Springfield Catholic HS. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Ran a 6.81 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with quick, athletic actions while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Fluid glove actions while funneling out front and working through exchange. Got the baseball out quickly and can released from multiple arm angles. Generated very stiff carry across the infield topping at 91 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing an aggressive close to the baseball with athletic actions through transition. Baseball came out of hand cleanly from an over top slot producing accurate, stiff carry at 95 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Quiet, simple hands at load and works to contact on direct path. Barrel came through the zone on a clean, linear path with present bat speed. Consistently worked to the middle of the field employing a balanced approach that generated loud, hard contact between the gaps. Excellent student. Named to the 2018 National Indoor Showcase, Top Prospect List.
