Tyler Hopper is a 2019 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Reno, NV who attends Damonte Ranch HS. Big and strong well proportioned build. Leg raise delivery, gets his strong hips turned well, 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, full smooth arm circle in back, low effort release he can repeat well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, virtually every fastball has cutting action, adds and subtracts from the cutter with good feel, mixed in a few 2-seam fastballs with good sinking action. Pulls the string on a curveball for another look. Threw strikes and had an idea on the mound, quick and efficient innings. Right handed hitter, power approach from a wide base, leans back and looks to pull and lift the ball. Good student.
