Bo Gatlin is a 2019 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Oxford, MS who attends Oxford HS. Recorded a 6.83 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build and good present strength/speed combo. Primary shortstop with a smooth release and gains solid ground toward the target. Good arm strength recorded up to 86 mph across. Good carry on throws with good actions. Footwork still developing but works well through the throw. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a fast arm, compact delivery, and good balance. Aggressive demeanor and good use of the lower half. Very hard slider with teeth and the chance to be a very good pitch. Righthanded hitter with good bat speed, balance, and repeats it well. Natural loft to the swing plane with serious power to the pull side. Lots of leverage with a quick bat and lifts the ball well. Numerous home runs during batting practice with excellent hitting tools. Good student. Named to the 2018 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
