Chad Haller is a 2019 2B with a 5-8 159 lb. frame from Springfield, IL who attends Springfield HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary second baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while traveling to and surrounding the baseball. Funneled the baseball out front and worked through exchange well. Throws generated some accurate carry across the infield topping at 66 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, crouched stance. Tends to stride to closed position with front side. Shifts into contact well and utilized an inside path to contact. Flashed some hand quickness throughout the zone while working to the middle of the field and opposite field gap. Stays balanced throughout and consistently barreled the baseball. Excellent student as well.
