Ameer Hasan is a 2020 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 166 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, NJ who attends The Pennington School. Recorded a 5.39 second 40-yard dash time. Good present size with some physicality to the frame. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a good tempo to his delivery. Loads well on his back leg and has a long, loose arm action. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and showed some arm side run. Worked the lower half of the strike zone well. Two different breaking balls and the slider graded out as the better of the two. Sharp break with good depth and the curveball showed 11/5 shape and was more recognizable out of the hand. Competed well and worked around the strike zone consistently. Arm strength played well from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a downhill swing plane, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Hanging leg lift trigger and the swing flashed directness at times. flashed the ability to pull the ball on a line. Good student.
