Henry Anaya is a 2018 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 143 lb. frame from La Puente, CA who attends South Hills. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build and good room remaining to continue filling out. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Hits with medium-length stride, linear swing plane with high finish. Coils front hip slightly to load, pull-field approach with slight hip leak, made consistent contact to all fields. Worked out defensively in the infield. Moves well to the ball and shows clean fielding actions, good footwork throughout, quick release with consistent accuracy across the diamond, IF velocity up to 76 MPH. Pitched as well, showed longer and clean arm action to three quarters slot, arm is loose and projects well. FB worked 74-76 with slight running life, also mixed in an 11/5 CB with solid shape in the mid 60's. Did good job throwing strikes with both pitches. Very good student.
