Kameron Walters is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Frederick, MD who attends Urbana HS. Medium athletic build, has good lower body strength with a more slender upper half. 7.19 runner, showed good athleticism in the middle infield with nice lateral range to the ball, shows some arm strength with a long and loose projectable arm. Right handed hitter, has a simple load and repeatable swing mechanics, hands are quick and short through the zone, middle of the field approach and can get the ball in the air gap to gap. Also pitched, fast paced delivery with good tempo, clean arm circle to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, some running action to the arm side, was able to get his fastball to the glove side when he wanted to. Short sweeping slider and change up still developing. Solid athlete who should keep improving as he adds strength and repetitions. Good student.
