Dakota Fingar is a 2017 OF/SS/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Okanogan, WA who attends Okanogan HS. Medium, athletic frame with solid build throughout; good remaining room to fill on body. Posted a 7.46 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from open stance, leans back into load then strides forward, closes off opened hip well to deliver hips online. Quick hands with clean path to ball, will pull head off at times, good momentum in swing with solid usage of lower half. Some lift in swing path, shows ability to hit the ball squarely into the air, more power will develop with continued strength gains and physical development. Worked out defensively in the outfield, showing smooth and athletic actions to the ball. Fields cleanly and works through it with balance and grace, shows good arm strength with quick release, outfield velocity topped at 82 MPH. Good student.
