Jacob Dupps is a 2019 3B/1B/SS with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Christian Academy of Louisville. Large frame with athletic, quality present build; good projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based, athletic stance; relaxed set, smaller stride to trigger, very fast hands creating quality bat speed, good hitting components overall. Showed consistency to mechanics and repeats swing well, gets barrel out on linear path and showed good jump into both gaps, projects well for power as he continues to gain strength. Worked out in the infield; quality third base profile, gets around the ball well with solid footwork, works through and shows quickness to arm stroke and release, clocked up to 82 mph across the diamond. Named to 2017 Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
