Bo Willoughby is a 2018 SS/3B/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Beaverton, OR who attends Aloha HS. Smaller, lean build. Projects for added build and strength. Right handed hitter with a slightly open, balanced stance. Lower half has some shift into contact with more available. Shows quick hands with a compact downhill swing plane. Uses a mid- field, opposite field approach that produces line drive, ground ball contact. Hitting tools will continue to develop with physical maturity. Worked out defensively from the infield. Shows smooth two hand funneling actions while surrounding the baseball. Quick transition into throws and creates some direction. Loose arm action that produces accurate throws across, topped at 64 mph. Flashes athletic actions and glove work that will continue to develop with physical development. Solid tool set for a 2018. Good student as well.
