Nolan McNeill is a 2018 3B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ who attends Poston Butte HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Sets up to hit with hands set close to body and slightly open in lower half; lower hand set, does a good job generating lift in swing with solid bat speed. Makes solid contact consistently, showed best power into left center field gap; also has good overall power projection with additional strength. Worked out defensively in the infield. Moves to ball well with quickened footwork, moves quickly throughout actions, fields cleanly and does a good job getting rid of the ball quickly. Throws across the diamond clocked up to 73 MPH with solid accuracy. Very good student.
