Owen Hannigan is a 2018 RHP/2B with a 5-11 158 lb. frame from Glen Ridge, NJ who attends Glen Ridge HS. Has a solid frame and athletic build. Posted a 7.89 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, stays online with fluid mechanics to the plate, good lower half drive off the rubber. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long arm circle and tilt. Throws lots of strikes and mixes his fastball and curveball well, curveball has good depth and bit, also flashed a slider at 67 mph. From the infield, moves well to the baseball with good footwork, shows looseness in his actions and not afraid to get dirty making a diving backhand when springing right up to his feet. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a narrow stance and higher hand set. Swings on a line drive swing plane while staying inside the baseball. Creates leverage in swing and looks to hit the baseball out front. Good student.
