Austin Price is a 2016 RHP/SS/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Mountain View HS. Medium-large frame with solid present build throughout body and good projection remaining on frame. Primary pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, crossfire mechanics with mostly upper body delivery. Works quickly and attacks hitters with two pitch arsenal. FB worked 70-73, showing 2-seam life at 70-71 and 4-seam straighter action at 72-73. CB showed 11/5 shape with solid depth, did good job pitching to contact and getting ground balls. Rotational hitting mechanics with line drive swing plane, some strength off the barrel, did good job making consistent barreled contact to all fields. Good wrist/hand actions in swing. Worked out defensively in the infield. Looked good charging the ball and transferring ball quickly from glove to hand, has ability to throw on the run, IF velocity up to 70 MPH.
