Trey Treasure is a 2016 2B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Skyview HS. Slender athletic build, young look, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, weight tends to say on his back side creating an uphill swing plane, can impact balls down in the zone hard but tends to work under balls up in the zone due to his swing approach. Third base tools defensively, stays balanced well and his arm works, compact arm action from a lower slot, gets rid of the ball quickly. Also pitched, high 3/4's to over the top slot, medium effort release, uses lower half well in delivery and stays on line. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph. Short curveball with some downer shape. Good student.
