Joe Peters is a 2008 C/1B/3B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Apple Valley MN, who attends Eastview HS. He has a medium frame with some present strength. Peters is a left handed hitter who showed the ability to use his hands and handle the bat head. He hits from a spread, open stance with no stride and a limited load. Peters tends to spin off the ball but used his hands and consistently centered the ball hard. He has that ability to make contact on all types of pitches in all zones and move the ball around the field. Adjusting his balance might help him drive the ball a little harder. Defensively, Peters showed good quickness in his lower half moving laterally. His throws had good accuracy and good carry. His receiving skills with high velocity, live fastballs should improve with experience. Peters is a good student.
