Jake Julagay is a 2018 C/3B/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Lacey, WA who attends Timberline HS. Young, athletic build on medium frame with good room to continue filling out. Posted a 7.66 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with balanced mechanics throughout swing and line drive swing plane. Most contact was on the ground to the pull field. Would do well to better utilize lower half in swing. Pull-field approach with ability to get the barrel out. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Sets up low behind the plate with slight side saddle, creates good drive and direction in lower half mechanics/footwork, quick release out of long arm circle, accurate to 2B bag, popped as low as 2.05 seconds. Pitched as well, showed mostly upper body delivery, near overtop arm slot, threw consistent strikes with fastball working 67-72 MPH. Good student.
