Joshua Brown is a 2017 BHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Phenix City, AL who attends Glenwood School. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Both handed pitcher, graded out significantly higher from the left side. Left handed fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets good angle and extension from a high 3/4's slot, slurve type left handed slider showed good spin and shape at times, uses his lower half better from the left side. Limited arm speed from the right side and appears to guide the ball. Should work from the left side exclusively and develop more consistency in his delivery and release point. Right handed hitter, open stance with an exaggerated inside swing path, opposite field contact. Good student.
