Casey Sole is a 2019 C/1B, 3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Cedar Falls. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary catcher with a slightly taller stance while setting up to receive the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch and worked through exchange quickly. Tends to release from a taller throwing position from a compact arm slot. Throws generated accurate, on line carry topping at 74 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Present strength with bat speed and utilized a naturally lifted, fluid swing plane. Ball consistently jumped off the barrel with authority to each gap. Committed to Southeast Missouri State. Very good student as well.
